Our Mission
IShort is a Chrome extension designed to help Instagram creators, marketers, and agencies analyze their Reels performance. We believe that every creator deserves access to powerful analytics tools without the complexity or high cost of enterprise solutions.
Our goal is simple: provide actionable insights that help you understand what content resonates with your audience, when to post for maximum engagement, and how to grow your presence on Instagram.
What We Offer
IShort collects publicly available data from Instagram Reels and transforms it into actionable insights. Track views, likes, comments, engagement rates, and discover the best times to post - all from a simple browser extension that keeps your data private.
Our Values
Privacy First
Your data stays on your device. We don't store your Instagram credentials or sell your information to third parties. Analytics data is stored locally in your browser.
Simplicity
No complicated dashboards or confusing metrics. We focus on the data that matters most to help you understand your content performance at a glance.
Transparency
Clear pricing with no hidden fees. We're upfront about what our tool can and cannot do. Check our pricing page for detailed feature comparisons.
Built for Creators
IShort was created to solve a real problem: understanding Instagram Reels performance without expensive tools or complicated setups. We use IShort ourselves and continuously improve it based on what creators actually need.
Whether you're a solo creator tracking your own content, a marketer managing client accounts, or an agency handling multiple brands, IShort provides the insights you need to make data-driven decisions.
IShort Research Team
The bylines on our research-driven guides (benchmarks, outlier score, watch time, reach vs impressions, and others) are produced by the IShort Research Team — a working group of the IShort founders plus opted-in IShort Pro creators who voluntarily share aggregated, anonymized analytics from their own accounts.
Sourcing policy. Every numerical claim cites either (a) an opted-in IShort dataset with disclosed sample size and dates, (b) Instagram or Meta primary documentation linked in-line, or (c) named third-party research with a permalink. We avoid uncited industry-wisdom claims. Ranges and medians are reported in preference to means where outliers are likely.
Corrections policy. We publish a corrections log and revise any error within 7 days of a credible report. Tell us if you spot one.
